All those interested in learning about Mission of Hope, an effort to break the cycle of poverty though education, are welcome to join us for an evening of information and fun tomorrow, Thursday June 25th at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church West Springfield.
For several years Grace has sponsored the schooling of a group of children from Tanzania. The Mission of Hope organizers in Tanzania have sent updated information about the children’s progress and upcoming plans for the holidays.
No committment necessary; come enjoy the refreshments and learn how you can make a difference in the lives of children who need your help.

Volunteers young and old are needed to sort and store donated food that was collected as part of the National Associated of Letter Carriers food drive. Volunteers are needed to move food up from the basement, sort and inspect items and to shop for perishable items that were not able to be collected as part of the drive.
Special thanks to Thrivent Financial (a faith-based, non-for-profit financial services organization) to providing funding for materials to support this project.
And after that, don’t forget to stop by the Grace Lutheran Church 2009 summer rummage sale!
