Needlers return next week

September is already here, and ’tis the season for needlework! Grace’s sewing and knitting group resumes its weekly gatherings next week.

Starting Sept. 8 and taking place each Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. for about two hours in the parlor at Grace Lutheran Church in West Springfield, the group knits, sews, crochets, quilts and mends, often donating its efforts to local groups or presents them as gifts for newly baptized babies.

The Needlers are eager for new participants. No experience is required (the group is happy to teach its craft to others) and you don’t have to be a member of Grace (or even a Lutheran) to participate — all are welcome!

Learn more on our Needlers page or call the church office at 413-734-9268.
