Grace Lutheran Church West Springfield asks members and friends of the church for their help and participation in an outdoor cleanup day this Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, starting at 9:00 a.m. An impressive number of fallen leaves have accumulated on the property, and guests are asked to bring rakes to help gather them. Also several small tree limbs have also fallen in the past few months, and anyone with equipment to cut them up and remove them is very much needed. Contact the church office with any questions.
This Saturday is going to be a busy day at Grace Lutheran Church West Springfield. In addition to the Holiday Fair (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM), we will complete the Peace Garden and doing our fall cleanup.We hope to see lots of you at Grace on Saturday. We will begin our work outside between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
Sue Bennett is still looking for volunteers to help with the fair and for people to donate new items, gift certificates, used items, and baked goods. (Give her a call with questions: 562-7784)
For the fall cleanup, please bring your rakes, leaf blowers, tarps, etc. The weather looks good, and we look forward to another productive and spirited cleanup crew!
Grace Lutheran Church West Springfield’s annual fall outdoor clean up is scheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. We need as many people as possible to help out, and bring rakes, leaf blowers, tarps, etc. We hope for a repeat of last year, namely lots of people having fun working together. We will provide a pizza lunch for all those who can make it.
Due to an inclement forecast, Grace Lutheran Church West Springfield has postponed its annual fall leaf cleanup day until Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, starting at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are desperately needed to help rake and gather the many leaves that have fallen on and around the church grounds. Please bring leaf blowers, rakes, tarps, hedge clippers, and a friend!
